Rocko had hard day, poor wallaby..
(Maybe it recollects one episode, but this pic was made out of nothing ,without any reference )

Sketch'd during the work, shortly before end of shift, I was tired like hell and the illusion of knockout right on the bed was so intense...it led me to that idea..
The most annoying part was the wooden texture...after spending hours tinkering with it I realized I won't be drawing wooden object for some time :D

Aaawww, Rocko looks so adorable with a lightpink top. :aww: And the wood texture is indeed really hard to make it looking real so I think you did a super great job with this pic. :+favlove:

Rocko is one of my FAVORITE cartoons. He's so awesome! Too bad they don't show it anymore (on my cable). I miss em. The old good cartoons. Anyways, lets get back to the art comment:

This was really good. As :iconlazyashell: said, the wood looks very realistic. May i ask, how did you do this picture?
:icon404bot:
 About the color of the top: I live alone -he lives alone too,I wash my clothes-probably so he does. I screwed up separating coloured clothes (I never pay 2much attention 2dat) so (not only)my top gone pink, and I thought for myself it would be funny (and probably)to make him do the same. :) Well I hope that wasn't mean from me -it was spontaneous idea while choosing the colour, and white seemed "dull" so... kinky pinky top is making it different
Well It's nice to her that, that all the effort spent on wood wasn't in vain :thanks:
Bye

Indeed it is. The good old gold one  I grew up on that show -nice times(and it was one of reasons why I decided to draw cartoons as hobby)
If I can hint -try download the whole 4 episodes via Torrents (I did that some year ago-so it could be still workin';) and if not, there were few episodes on YouTube ;)
The pic or the texture? both ain't difficult, only in my case time-consumpting(cca 6hrs of time)-because I do every line or shade manually, and often try some new apporoach.. It's bit hard 4me to explain the whole process,at the beginning is idea and all the other things (like Bckgrnd details) develop "on the run"
:thanks: thank you for compliments, >there's still alot to learn

Oh, that reminds me in that time where I shared a bathroom with my neighbour when I was in boarding school a long time ago. X) That happened with our clothes as well. X)

Hey-thanks,but IMAO I've made only minor steps ahead. :)
The advance is still "sleepy-snail-paced" due the fact I'm experimentizing most of the time (absolutely no will to bite through any tutorials), and I see mistakes in almost everyt apporoach.
and no worthy idea occured sofar..

That's normal! No one can expect to advance too quickly. All of art is an experiment. We have an idea and we try to depict it visually and see what we end up with. Of course you are gong to see mistakes along the way. After years and years when you are much much better you will still see mistakes. That's just how it is. But I can see you moving forward and I can see the slow progress of improvement. Keep it up. :)
